This is the final version. I tried to correct the things I've noticed earlier. Each time I retouch a painting, I feel I do worst than anything on it!
Any comments?
Voici la version finale. J'ai essayé de corriger les problèmes que j'avais soulevés précédemment. On dirait qu'à chaque fois que je retouche une peinture, je fais pire que bien!

This week attempt. I struggled with the background and the snow. Not easy parts for me.
The title of this one:

Acrylic on massonite, 16x20, entirely done with a knife.

Travail effectué lors de mon cours de cette semaine. J'ai eu de la difficulté avec le fond et la neige (pas facile pour moi).

I like this one. The shadow is probably too dark but I like it anyway. The grass lacks of light too.
J'aime bien. L'ombre est peut-être trop foncé et le gazon manque probablement de lumière. J'aime bien quand même ...

I know there are a few mistakes in it. I don't really like the foreground but overall, i like it!
Il y a quelques erreurs ici et là. C'est l'avant plan que j'aime le moins. Mais, dans l'ensemble, j'aime bien.

It is based on a photo taken in Old Quebec City BUT ... it doesn't look like the photo at all! I permit myself to change it a lot! It is not a masterpiece but this is the kind of work I tend to like!
What do you think?
Essai basé sur une photo prise dans le vieux Québec. MAIS, ça ne ressemble pas vraiment à la photo. D'ailleurs, je me permet généralement de modifier radicalement mes références lorsque je peint. Cette tentative n'est pas un chef d'oeuvre mais j'aime ce style irrégulier et peu défini ...

So, I spent another 90 minutes on it and here is the final result. Not too bad. Some glare at the top left. The house lean to the left but I don't really care honestly!
Un petit 90 minutes de plus on celle-ci et voici le résultat final. Il y a des reflets en haut à gauche. La maison penche vers l'arrière mais ça ne me dérange pas ...

Well. This week, I tried to save last week's attempt. Lights were missing in the last version so I've added a lot of it. Maybe too much but I prefer anyway this version compared to the other one ...
J'ai essayé de sauver ma tentative de la semaine passée en ajoutant beaucoup de lumière au tableau et en corrigeant le ciel. J'aime pas mal mieux cette version!
